The Jack Ma Foundation’s 2020 Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) competition has announced its top 20 finalists and three Nigerian entrepreneurs made the cut. One of the finalists is Oluwasoga Oni, the CEO, MDaas Global – one of our portfolio companies.
The prize competition is an initiative of the Jack Ma Foundation through its Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative (ANPI). It aims to identify, spotlight and support African entrepreneur heroes creating impact in their communities and building a more inclusive economy for the future.
About 22,000 applications were received for this edition of Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) Competition. These applications are spread across 54 African countries. The grand finale of the competition will hold later this year, where the top 10 finalists will pitch to Jack Ma and other global business leaders for a chance to win their share of a US$1.5 million prize pool.
